About Me

I’m a radiation oncologist with clinical expertise in adult and pediatric sarcomas (tumors of soft tissues and bone) and thoracic tumors (tumors of the lung and thymus gland). I also serve as an assistant professor of radiation oncology.

I feel privileged to be part of The Ohio State University medical community, and I’m especially proud to contribute to the overall OSUCCC – James mission: cutting-edge research and the delivery of superior, individualized care to each and every one of our patients.

A lot of my work has been in clinical and laboratory research, evaluating everything from the effectiveness of ionizing radiation treatments to trials aimed at determining ways to mitigate the undesired side-effects of certain treatment regimens. It’s my hope that this and the other research we do will not only help us ultimately create a cancer-free world, but also ease the suffering of patients while we’re on the way to achieving that goal.

I’ve contributed to 17 peer-reviewed publications, which cover topics ranging from therapies to treat bone and extremity soft-tissue sarcomas to radiation therapy for symptomatic persistent endometriosis. I also have numerous presentations at national conferences.

In addition to my work at OSUCCC – James, I mentor radiation oncology fellows and students.
